I already wrote on New Years Eve our big plans but here are the few pictures we got. I tried to get a photo of all the kids, the very last photo of 2008, but Maddox was NOT having it.
It may of had something to do with the fact that is was like 10:30 close to three past their bedtime, or it may have had something to do with fact for three weeks straight his whole life had been altered including his mamas sleep, or it could possibly have had something to do with the fact that we had our chocolate fountain on all night and the kids pretty much had a free for all. 
I figured it is once a year, let them go crazy! Well it actually wasn't all that crazy, we did monitor what went in those bodies, but it was a treat, so I am sure that had something to do with all their excitement and energy. They went to bed really well that night and were fast asleep in no time. We were thankful for that! We had a really good, low key night. That is the kind of new years eve I like! We had such a great year in 2008. So many great things. The best thing was our sweet little Paxton birth. He had a rough start, but made such huge leaps and bounds and we were so grateful for that.
We have a job and we are so grateful for that and a home and transportation. We have healthy children and family near by. We have so many blessings and hope for continued blessings in this new year! Welcome 2009!

Sounds like you had a blast. Maybe I will start doing something fun for new years. We usually don't do anything.. that might have to change next year...
