Random January

Looking so cute for church.
Cortland loves his nite nites and if he green and blue one are not clean the pink one will do. As soon as he gets his nite nites his finger pops in his mouth.
Bennett and his best friend {future wife} Karli.
Playing our memory game. We play this game a lot and by a lot I mean every other hour.

This baby makes me want 100 more just like him. He is just so amazing.

I love how well the little kids and Bennett play together. They love playing together. They were all hiding from Bennett and Bennett would come around the corner say Gotcha! They loved it!

These two love each other so much. Nothing like a hot chocolate milkstache.

So pretty for church!

While going through some pictures I saw some random photos that I had not used on my blog yet and they were too cute or fun to miss. I love these little ones so much!

A random sampling

My little Mr. Maddox. Gosh I love this guy.

I can't even tell you how much I love doing this little one's hair. I love even more that she loves when I do it!

My oldest and youngest. They are both so darn sweet and adorable. I am a lucky mama!

Cortland, oh Cortland. He is the most well behaved child I have ever known. So sweet and so cute. I love the things he says.

Maddox is cleaning up

I cannot even tell you how many times I have watched this video. Oh SO CUTE!

When Andy asks if he wants to go in for hot chocolate and grilled cheese he says "no thank you." Then when he says what are you doing he says, "I am cleaning up!" SO adorable. Andy mentions something about him being in a 12 month bunting. Yes he is three and really tiny!

Christmas

It is no big secret that we run ourselves ragged during the whole Christmas festivities. I have to say it is still fun though. We do manage to see everyone and fit everything in and by the time January rolls around it is kind of a nice break, but we love Christmastime none the less. We normally spend Christmas Eve day with the E side, Christmas Eve night at my grandparents, Christmas morning here, Christmas Day with the E side, Christmas night with my other grandparents, and the Saturday after Christmas at my parents house. That wears me out typing it all out even! It is all so fun. At some point I know it will die down a little so we are enjoying now while we can, but I have to say my favorite part is the night before Christmas with just my little family and Christmas morning with just us. It is so fun. We just love being together and after all the hustle and bustle just be together. I love it. We eat our big breakfast while listening to Christmas tunes enjoy our gifts, play our new games. It is just so much fun. I love that we do get to do our own little thing during that time and it is nice after so much going on. This year I had my camera out the morning of Christmas and a little at my grandparents house, but not much more so I do not have many photos to show for it, but we all had a great time! I was so impressed by Andy because he got me a jewelry armoire. I was so excited and surprised. I have wanted one for years, so I was very happy. He also surprised me and got me the Pioneer Woman Cook Book. I LOVE it! What a sweet guy. Jadeyn's Christmas consisted of dolls and more dolls and doll clothes and a doll bed and more dolls. Cortland got a Diego game for his leapster and toys and movies, Bennett got some Pokemon, ds games and Lego's. Maddox got a drum set that was his big hit of the holiday. Paxton got little baby things and was so excited about opening all the presents. He is adorable!

Before the children came in.

Getting ready to see all that Santa brought!

They were so excited to see Santa ate our cookies!

They just sit real quite and open their presents and then yell out what they got. It is so much fun to watch them get so excited!

Poor Bennett had caught the sickness that had been going on right in time for Christmas day. He just laid on the couch. Poor kid. It is just not as fun when you are sick and want to be so excited about everything!

Santa

This year we made it to see Santa again and they all did pretty darn well. Paxton wasn't too thrilled with the idea, but he made it through. They are just at such fun ages.

J and C turn FOUR

What a fun celebration we had for these couple of four year olds? Is that possible??? When Bennett turned four, which by the way seems like sometime last week, he seemed so old and now that my twins are four it seems so young? It is weird like that, but anyway...
We had several celebrations. The weekend before we celebrated with my family having them over for some snacks and cake and ice cream. They were so excited for their princess and the pirate party. They even wore their dress up's for the occasion. They are just adorable if I do say so myself.
Opening their gifts and they were so so excited!

Some of the party guests.

The cakes. Oh the cakes. I am not a cake maker or decorator or whatever you want to call it. I am not good at it, I do not like doing it and it just makes me anxious, but for some reason every year, six times a year, I get this great idea for a cake and think it will be different this time and it never is. I am never satisfied. Oh well. The kids love it and not even half way through the party you cut into it anyway, so who cares, right?

The guys below were putting everything together. I asked them if they would come Christmas morning. :)
Then the day of their birthday along with making a big deal about the whole day itself, we went to monkey joes that evening and out to dinner. It was a really fun time for everyone.

This picture just melts my heart. This is the exact reason why I wanted a house full of kids. I love that they are all best friends. They need no one else but each other. Tender.

Then the Monday after their birthday we celebrated with Andy's family which was extra fun because Brandon's family was here to help us celebrate! The only down side that night was Jadeyn was not feeling it. Poor girl she was not feeling well and just laid on the couch the whole night. She was so sad and kept saying "I want to feel better to like my party". Poor thing. It was still fun though and we all had a great time. That is one only good thing about a holiday birthday is that more family are in town generally and here to help celebrate.
