Halloween Goodness

Delish Caramel Apples with 6 different toppings! Oh boy do we make treats around here around this time.

I think it may be some sort of addiction to find all these

fun things for the kids to make and eat.

We have been keeping ourselves busy that is for sure.

Here are some of our spooky treats and eats!

Spider Web cupcakes.

Mummy Dogs

Bennett getting the apples ready.

These kids acted like this was the best day of their lives. Andy wanted to get Paxton in the picture too!

Making brownie rollups. You just make a batch of brownies and when they have cooled off a bit and are still warm you take a piece and roll in up into a ball and dip them into your favorite sprinkle or topping.

Maddox represents! This hat is like his left arm. It goes everywhere with him.

This is a little tribute to uncle B!!!!!

We celebrated Cami's, Andy's, Joy's and Marc's birthday in October with some amazing Pumpkin Cupcakes!!!

Ghosts for Breakfast.

Making Spider Cookies!

October IIII

Our annual block halloween party was so fun this year just like last. We just have the best neighbors and block. We figured out last night that 6 of the ladies on this street were pregnant all at the same time. There will 27 on our little street by April. Wow that is shocking typing it. There are only 12 homes. Anyway, it was a fun night and Bennett even carved his own pumpkin this year. He did such a great job!

October Fun III

The good ole Pumpkin Patch

This year like many many years in the past we took the kids to the local pumpkin patch with my mom, my aunt-her sister, and my cousin. We always have so much fun. The kids each got a pumpkin and we did some of the little activities they had there and then ate lunch at their restaurant. The food was great, but it took way too long to get and the kids were not having it. After eating ketchup and apple butter by the spoonfuls they weren't even hungry by the time we got our food, but it was still fun and we all survived.

Bennett getting a good one and by "good" he means HUGE!!!

Cortland loved everything about this day.

They all found their pumpkins fast.

He even picked his very own. And yes I know it looks like my son has bangs in this picture, but he does not! Although on this particular day...he did.

Everyone wanted to make sure baby Paxton had his own pumpkin.

Everyone waiting for the wagon back. There is SO much about this picture that makes me laugh. Makes me want to pee my pants kind of laugh.

They love cousin Victoria. They had so much fun with her with us. They love "Nant Nan" too and the even love their dog Daisy probably just as much and they have only met her once!

I though when I pulled the camera up she was going to stay don't take my picture and she started to, but then hit a very posed pose, so I took it. I am so grateful for her.

Enjoying the petting zoo although I hate them, I feel like it is a disease/sickness waiting to happen at those things.

Sometimes

Sometimes I wish I was not quite the perfectionist I want to be. Sometimes I wish I could just wipe off the kitchen table instead of cleaning every square of it the legs and all. Sometimes I wish I could just sweep instead of scrubbing it all floor boards included. Sometimes I wish I could just brush the crumbs off the counters instead of wiping every square inch of it including the appliances with a Clorox wipe {which I should own stock in I go through a 5 pack from Sam's in 2 weeks}. Sometimes. I have to say I love it when it is all done, but why can't I make things easier for my self. I wish I could go to bed at night without vacuuming first and running the dishwasher and hanging up that last load of clothes. I wish. But I just can't. When I am cleaning something that whole entire time I am doing it I am thinking about something else I need to clean next and then next and then next. I guess it is good when I have the energy to do it, but sometimes just sometimes I wish I would just let it all be. But that sometime is not today folks, it never ends! I mean if I don't "Clorox" the door handles, light switches, remote and phones, what would we ever do?!?! :)

This just makes me giggle. I love it so much. The twins dancing like Gabba Gabba, Cortland in Snow White with a lady bug cap and then Maddox cuts in. So. Darn. Cute!

I know I sounds obnoxious I am just trying to get Cortland to look at the camera!

October Fun II

We had fun when Grandma W. came for her monthly taco lunch. She brings us tacos and she brought the kids some extra treats this month for Halloween. Since she had her Halloween vest on Cortland insisted we needed to go back to the pumpkin patch. We had a nice afternoon with her.
Andy's mom wanted to take the kids to a fall festival. They had a great time. It was a little bit chilly though. They came home with lot's of treats and prizes. Thanks Grandma Joy they had such a great time and still talk about it!

October Fun

Can I just say how much I love fall and especially the month of October!
I just love it. I think my kids love it as much as I do.
It has been especially fun to not be preggers and actually have the patience
and energy to do all the fun activities I love doing each year.
We have been really busy this month with all kinds of fun things.
We have even ventured out a few times,
but for the most part we have just enjoyed ourselves at home with crafts and yummy treats we have made. Stay tuned because
I am sure this week we will have many more pictures to feature. I have the whole weeks menu revolving around
spooky dinners and desserts!
Each day this week I think I will post one of our activities we have done and tonight we will start with Boo and the Zoo. It was fun. We pretty much just walked around. There was a few little things for the kids to do and they had free ice cream which is not something you normally would want on a chilly October night, but still nice that is was free I guess.

Trying to get a good picture, but you can see it didn't really happen!

My cute little monkey!!!

Cute little brother monkeys!

Is this not the most delicious looking banana you have ever seen? I want to eat him up!!!

PS...Nan, if you are reading my mom cried at Chuck Wagon the other day when she was holding Paxton because, "he is just so sweet!". I thought you would love to hear that!
